 "Used for Legos" 2010-01-17
By Aggie Kimple (Cornwall, NY USA)
We bought 2 of these for our 6 year old son. He has many legos and loves the little lego men the best. We use the detachable screw holders for lego men and this way my son can find them right away, no need to dig forever. We painted the outside with the themes of legos that are inside. he loves being able to find what he wants right away and I love that the legos are all in one place now!

"Five stars for the toolbox, one star for the packing job" 2010-01-09
By J. Robinson (los angeles, CA USA)
The box is big and feels sturdily made; exactly what I was looking for. However, it wasn't packed well and when it arrived one of the plastic bins on top had broken. I was able to fix it with some duct tape, but that's not ideal when you buy a new item, is it? This is the first problem I've had with Amazon and their packing, so hopefully it's an anomaly. Just letting you guys know.

 "deceptive description?" 2009-10-27
By Kerry Pierce (Detroit, MI USA)
Plano has "extra deep" in the descriptions and prominently displayed on a big sticker that is attached to the front of the toolbox. So, I bought two of these "extra deep" models, a 20 and 26 inch model, not understanding what they were talking about with the "extra deep" description, but hoping that it meant usable area below the hinges......

Well, these toolboxes aren't significantly different, dimensionally, than similar sized models from other makers, as far as I can tell. I have several other toolboxes, with similar overall dimensions and the ones I've checked at Lowes and Sears were about the same as well. So, I'd like to know how they came up with that "extra deep" thing....

I gave three stars because the toolboxes seem to be pretty nice, being a fairly good value with the features that they actually do have, in spite of being disappointed that they weren't any deeper than my other toolboxes. The integrated parts boxes on the lid are a nice touch. They're completely plastic, so they may not withstand lots of use, but they're a nice addition to the toolbox. The inner tray is also available for medium sized parts/tools storage, so it can be a nicely organized toolbox.

I don't think that they'd stand up under heavy loads and heavy use, but for medium to light loads and use, I think they'll work fine.

 "Good Toolbox" 2009-06-03
By R. Morgan (Plano, TX USA)
Nothing fancy about this toolbox, but it's roomy enough and has sturdy latches. The small-parts boxes that stay in the top with a friction fit have so far stayed in place. No complaints.

"I Was Shocked When I Saw It!" 2009-04-25
By T. Coleman (Texas)
Now, I'm just an old guy, the antithesis of a handyman. What's a tool box? Well, I was pleasantly surprised and yes, even shocked when I saw this one.

I suppose "real" DIYers use metal boxes; but this is all I need and more. Great size and seems plenty sturdy for my use. The pan on top is roomy, the area below big enough for all I have, plus; and the little mini-boxes will come in handy when I find stray screws, washers and such.

All in all, this was a very nice surprise. Great for normal home use, I'd think.
