I bought this toolbox at Lowe's for under $10. They have the Stanley toolbox line, at much better prices than any of the merchants on Amazon. I find the listing at $39.31, "on sale" for $11 plus $10 for shipping, especially amusing. This will be the big stumbling block for Amazon becoming the "online Walmart"--inflated prices and artificial "sales." When you factor in the shipping and the fact that you can't see the item until it is at your home and then you have to pay a "restock" fee and/or return shipping if you don't like it, I think I will stick to the book section.

I purchased this to use as my large first aid kit for disaster/emergency preparedness. Nice and roomy, sturdy. I particularly like the tray which allows contained storage of small items, and the two snap-open storage areas on the top that allow you to reach frequently needed items (like bandaids and antibiotic ointment) without opening the entire case.

It is brightly coloured, and therefore easy to find; it is large and looks as though it will last. I would have liked some dividers in the bottom, but other than that, it is fine.

First off, for a 19 inch toolbox, it does store a lot of tools. The one problem I have with it is that top of the toolbox has small compartments with a yellow lid. I was hoping for a larger compartment, such as large as covering the whole top and with clear plastic but it only has 2 small compartments and the lids are not see through.
The latches are very nice and sturdy but the plastic all around is bendable so you may have to finagle it a bit if you stuff it with a lot of tools and have to lock it down.
A decent toolbox and worth the price. I wouldn't spend more than $20 on one of these though.

I needed a tool box, plastic preferred, for the truck to take to races. This box, for the price, is perfect! No complaints at all! It's solid and roomy.
