What a cheap piece of steel. Got this for my birthday, but with life happening, I didn't get a chance to put it together for a long while. When I tried to unseat the bottom floorplate so I could take out the top box, I couldn't even move it. The box had been so mishandled during shipping, and the steel was so cheap, that the weight of the top box in the main compartment had bent the floorplate and the bottom of the large doorframe to the point I couldn't get the floorplate out without mangling it all to crap. The top box will be useable, but the bottom half is a lost cause. My fault for not putting it together right away. DO NOT BUY THIS.

I got this in some sale a while back, and it was a very good deal. The bag has held up pretty well with heavy use. Only complaint is the foam handle slides up and down the metal bar, unbalancing the bag, periodically. It's not too much of a hassle. I'd buy the bag again.

I purchased this after one of my other tool totes was wearing out. I am a HVAC/Temperature Control professional .

Positive notes:

It Holds quite a bit of tools/gear

Shoulder strap helps when going up ladders.

Inexpensive

Negative notes:

Storage Pockets aren't very deep

Screwdrivers don't stay straight in loops

Shoulder strap always seems to lay underneath tools

Stitching on outer pockets tears

Tools end up lying underneath handle



Bottom line - seems ok for occasional home use, but wouldn't recommend it for professional daily use.

I wasn't sure if I could adjust from a traditional lid toolbox to using this tote, but now I'm extremely glad I did. There are so many little pouches for standing-up your screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, etc. There's also a metal clip on the outside for hanging your tape measure on. After using this I wouldn't want to go back to my old toolbox. On a side note, I saw this identical tote at Sears one night with the Craftsman brand on it, but costlier than this version.

First of all I bought this for only 13$ new, so I really didn't know what to expect. When it arrived, however, I was pleasantly surprised. The leather was beautiful and of high quality. The only thing I thought would have been nicer was if the belt were made of leather with a traditional belt closure, instead of the nylon belt strap with plastic snap buckle. It was only 13$ though, and absolutly wonderful for the price- much much better than I thought it would be. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I received this belt from my husband and kids for my birthday. As another reviewer stated the pink dye rubs off (I hope it comes out of my good white shirt from when I tried it on after receiving it). The waist band is huge. I've moved the clip to the smalled position and it's still too big. One of the pouches has a loose rivet and the rivets on the belt are not straight and were poorly inserted. I do not recommend this belt.

It IS high quality but I only give it a four because it is just too expensive, but what does the money mean 4 years from now after you have had this thing and used the crap out of it and its STILL working?



Another reason for the four is, like with EVERY metal zipper from Klein, its sometimes a pain the butt to open and close. I am hoping afer more use it gets easy, and it is, especially after a soap or wax job on the zipper, but you shouldnt have to do that on an expensive leather pouch.



The leather IS heavy duty! VERY thick and very nice.



Be nice if it came in different colors. I dont want more than one of these because of that. Color coated bags are great so you know what you are grabbing out of the tool box without having to open the zipper.



If your worried about quality, dont. If you are concerned about cost, well, its not cheap but this thing should last a lifetime. Just buy it and appreciate it as a gift to yourself. We all deserve that once in while. Well, expcept this one neighbor, he doesnt, LOL.

This bag is great for what I use it for...network supplies. It's got two dividers inside that keep my wall plates, jacks, and tools separate from each other. The bag is really a rigid box with a zippered top. It's not sturdy enough to sit on, but it is pretty rugged. I would recommend this to anyone.

Great for the tool room, great for the sewing room. I use it when I'm taking apart electronics and need to keep the screws from getting lost, for holding nails when working with wood, and even for holding pins when sewing. My ironing board is metal so it stays secure on the board when I'm doing intricate ironing work with pins and it quickly collects pins as I remove them when at the sewing machine. If I happen to spill a box of pins, the strong magentic bottom can be used to quickly sweep them up from the floor. They sell these now in sewing stores, but its cheaper to buy them from the hardware store.

This is by far the best socket organizer that I have seen so far.



Pros: The sizes are well marked on each spool. The tray is made well, and can be picked up with all of the sockets in place over the spools, without fear of breaking the tray.



Cons: A couple of the spools for the smaller size sockets (3/8 in especially) are too fat, and the socket will not go over the spool. There are not enough sizes on the 1/2 in. drive trays. I have a few in-between size sockets. I haven't found any organizer to address this though.



For me, this is best product on the market for organizing sockets.

This made my sockets so much easier to access and organize. I love this tool and am about to buy another set, however it is not without its flaws.



Some of the sockets do not fit on the pin, depending on the brand of socket. The 1/4 tray seems a little flimsy for the tool draw.



The price seems quite high for some plastic trays.

Socket storage has always been a problem for me. The metal boxes with tapered trays provided with most sockets sets rapidly become a mess, with no way of identifying the socket other than staining one's eyes trying to read the etchings on the side of the socket. This consumes a lot of time.



Hansen has solved all this with a nifty post identification system that I thought would solve my dilemma; however, it fell far short of this goal. Here's some of the problems I've encountered with these socket organizers:



1. They are inflexible, that is, even though my socket sets (I have about a dozen different sets) are complete, there are too many posts, which wastes a lot of space with empty posts on both ends. It would be better if the posts could be added or removed.



2. Some posts are missing, for example, an 11/32 post for 3/8 drive or similar "oddball" socket.



3. Deep sockets are oftentimes too deep for the post, covering up the label. Some sockets will not even fit on the posts, though the label say it will.



4. Sockets aren't handled delicately, but these organizers are, and I don't believe these thin posts will hold up to rough useage. It's only a matter of time before they break.



5. These things should sell for a few dollars each, not ten or more, given their plastic composition.



All in all, I believe it would be better to drill a neat row of holes in a piece of plywood that fits your tool box and pound in short lengths of wooden dowel pins, 1/2 inch, 3/8 inch, and 1/4 inch, with their ends cut at an angle and labeled.
